    Prayers for our friend Sgt. Dan, a local sheriff, and his partner...they were stabbed trying to apprehend someone this morning, they are being life flighted to a larger hospital, so it sounds serious.

    Sounds like Sgt Dan will be ok, haven't heard on the other deputy yet.
    Edit, it wasn't a deputy, it was the Sheriff himself! And he is ok too! :thumbs:
    I kinda wonder now though if the whole "life flight" thing was just a rumor...the injuries don't sound serious enough to warrant that, although maybe it was just being cautious...

    Thanks y'all...both men were released from the hospital yesterday...the sheriff was stabbed/cut across his forearm, the Sgt stabbed in the lower abdomen/upper leg. Sounds like both have just received stitches, at least for now. It was just the fact that they called for life flight to transport that freaked everyone out.

    Please put the families of Pleasant Hill , Mo in your prayers that were involved in the shooting outside of Little town Price Chopper…. 1 woman dead, a teenager is in ICU and the shooter in hospital. Happened yesterday evening. Still not sure what actually transpired.

    prayers on the way. Add a deputy in the next county from me, who was shot today and transported to Indianapolis- in this area, that is code for a serious injury. .
