The site is running excellent! The oil Italian tune up worked wonders!

    yooperdave , morning runs.. oyyyyy

eatonpcat , re the trigger finger, is that from opening blue smoothies?

Canadian border VT great to hear your better half of doing better. At least she's mobile! My better half is progressing VERY well, 3 weeks out of her walking boot, she almost can walk normally. She's not mach 3 typical speed yet, but PT is going well. Also I am not her 100% full time assistant, so that's a plus and I can do all the crap around the house as normal now. For the most part. I still am doing all the laundry with that being in the basement. She can, but I insist on doing that.

Great news on the bride healing, give her our best, yes Elise is mobile but doesn’t feel confident driving 1 handed, so I am on transportation duty. really easiest part BUT don’t tell her that; as I am busy stacking up Brownie point.

Today's progress. Got the majority of the dirty stuff done and got a layer of skim put down on the whole thing. (Picture taken a little early, just the back is skim coated.)

Some actual fun stuff today. Put a tape on er after on the ground and she was 75ft+-. In the lower 40s for stump diameter. The 395 made quick work of it.

That's my guess. I didn't grab any of the dead needles and count them. They're about the only pine tree around here that'll get that big.

    Lightning struck at that.

Getting the patio gate nearly done. I need to do a little clearancing , then I can get the latch and pull on it. Then I'll need to get working on the permanent fence.
    PXL_20260609_011715805.MP.jpg

This gate is already giving us a bit more privacy.
It will also allow me to quickly go from the fenced area to the rest of the yard, either with a mower blower, or walking.

Last night I used the gate I made on the patio for my zero turn mower. I need to do some adjustments and add the pull and the latch, but it's functional.

That sure helped me out. That .75" inch of rain we got late last week really kept the grass from browning out and while it didn't grow a ton in like 10 days, it needed a mow last night. We went from the wettest April on record to the dryest May on record. Crazy. We got a little rain yesterday on my ride home on the motorcycle for national ride to work day. Today and tomorrow we're supposed to get severe storms.

Interesting. I wonder if this will be less money than the ascent that is 6k. I would think it should be, but then again it has a log lift. This looks pretty comparable to the Rugged Made one, and those stay at 3100 bucks for a 22 ton with lift and electric start. The 37 ton ones are about 4-5k though

wildwest while the forum is working Imma try to post some pictures of that finished floor. Got er done yesterday.

Well I thought I was but all pictures are too large. Never had that problem before. Tried resizing and taking a screenshot of the picture. Neither worked.
