With most saws it involves filing the key to allow the flywheel to sit in a slightly advanced position on the crankshaft.

I ran a ported 355 at the WKY gtg that was a very strong running saw.

I think I'm going to pull the trigger on the 360T. I work for a company that makes the anti-vibe springs for saws and have ran these saws and hate the spring but love the rubber isolators. I'm not willing shell out 629.99 when my 299.99 saw will get the job done. I have an old 015L that still runs good but they no longer make chain so time to park it.

Well didn't buy the 360T instead I got the 355T, runs like a raped ape. They say it's Echo's answer to the Stihl 201 we'll see time will tell. Figured I would need to mod the muffler said screw the warranty and low and behold muffler is just an open can, sweet no catalyst.

From what I have read and all these saw shops around here they no longer make 1/4 pitch chain. Now on the 015L saw you can change to 3/8 pitch but you have to change the oiler spur gear, good luck finding one. I found 2 on ebay one was 75.00 and the other was 100.00I can't see paying that for a nylon gear for a saw which they have stopped making chain for.

Oh I agree Oregon is still making some but I am told once it's gone from what they have in stock there will be no more. I had 2 chains made last week he had only about 50 feet left and said he understood the warehouse had only one spool of the 1/4 pitch left.

I can look into Stihl 13RM, pretty sure it's still available, if it's not, 13RMS is still sold as carving chain.

The Stihl battery powered chainsaw uses 1/4" chain. I'm sure it will be available for quite a while.

Actually it uses 1/4" Picco chain. It's different than 1/4" in the same way that 3/8" Picco is different than 3/8".

    Yes. Picco is just Stihl-speak.
