Good morning, ya'll. Hope ya'll have a MARVELOUS MEMORIAL DAY MONDAY. Remember those that gave ALL for our freedoms.
Goat Town Weather Channel says it's 73⁰ and very cloudy, rain this afternoon. We got another .6" yesterday evening, 6.1" this month.
Off again today, may go see how wet the woodyard is, trim up the big limb that fell. Planning to take our son and his girlfriend to Sam's and dinner, one of the few days we're off together.

Morning all. Overcast with drizzle. It might clear up later today.

Processing firewood is on the agenda for today. We ordered a 1/2 cord of hemlock and I think we got 3/4 cord. Very generous supplier. I hope there will be room left in the woodshed for it.

Other than vacuuming the church yesterday, I have been resting my knee and it seems to be better today. After the wood is processed, I will be sitting with it up for the rest of the day.

I don't really understand the difference between Memorial Day, Veterans Day or Remembrance Day. In Canada, there is only Remembrance Day on Nov 11.

Woodwidow Memorial Day is day of remembrance for those that died and didnt come home

Veterans Day 11/11 is to thank all who sacrificed by serving

 

How plans can change...lol...we wanted to get a portable pellet grill, found out the place was open till 1PM. So called our son and we left at 10:30AM, got there at 12 noon. Got grill, then Sam's Club and early dinner at The Chop House.

We received an inch of rain, over the weekend. The region is still inches below average this year.

Good morning, ya'll. Hope ya'll have a TERRIFIC TUESDAY. Goat Town Weather Channel says it's 73⁰ outside, cloudy with more rain chances today. We got another 1.37" in the last 24hrs, almost 7.5" for the month. We needed it, but sure put a damper on my days off plans......oh well, GOOD LORD knows what we need.
Miz Carol said we had to get a picture with the Bull...
Got the boxes in the house, raining when we got home.
We got it put together and burn off done. Planning to break it in with 2 butts this morning.
