Hi, friends! I’ve missed you all! Hope you’re all doing well. I’ve been gone for a minute. The last year has been very challenging for me, on many fronts. I just wanted to check in and say hi. I did some splitting this morning. I finally got around to splitting up a bunch of 3 year seasoned Doug Fir rounds that I had stacked behind the house. We had 4 inches of snow on the ground yesterday morning, but it’s gone today. Today has been cool and cloudy, with occasional sprinkles. It was perfect splitting weather. Take care, friends. Love, Cash
Great to see you again Cash. Your absence has been noticed. Thought maybe with the mild Winter you folks had you were out hoarding up a storm. Some nice looking firewood there.
Hope all has been well with the "Colorado connection"....... Regarding your snow, a few years back, (early 90's) we left the western slope dressed for the hot day in shorts. Drove over the pass to Denver where it was snowing. We stopped at Freedom Harley, opened the trunk and dug out some sweat pants/shirts for all 4 of us!
Welcome back Cash Larue. You have been missed. I figured maybe you were frustrated, like so many here, with the forum. But it looks like you've been making firewood. lol I am pleasantly surprised this morning to see the forum working properly. Let us hope this continues.
Good to see you posting again. Fire service life can keep you hopping, and also complicates your family life, as I well know, so stop by when you can. I always enjoy seeing the Western forests and scenery that a few of you here are able to post. Take care!
Good to see you back Cash. Hope all is well with you and yours. Nice little mountain of farwood ya have there.
Cash! Good to see you again! I wish my Arctic Cat looked that good. Mine is so faded now. I hope things are okay with you. I haven't been posting much either. I've been busy with my son building a car to take on Route 66 in June. I haven't even touched a saw in six months.
Welcome back, Cash Larue As has been mentioned- your absence was noticed and glad to find out you are well!
Thank you all! I really appreciate the well wishes. You guys and gals are a really solid bunch Happy Memorial Day! And thank you to those who have served our country
Looks like a good time with some dandy firewood! Good to see you out and about and getting after the firewood!
I’m interested in hearing more about this “Route 66” trip. I don’t know much about the route, but the motel we stay at in Tulsa is on it and there’s quite a bit of reference to the route right around there.
Good to hear from you again Cash Larue Hope the future is smoother than the past year. Firewood therapy is always good. Hope to see you around soon
