Good morning, ya'll. Hope ya'll have a SPECTACULAR SONDAY. Goat Town Weather Channel says it's 63⁰, heading towards 90⁰, clear. Off today, so going to church this morning, we'll have FB LIVE feed on for both Sunday School and morning worship. Planning to take Miz Carol out for lunch afterwards, pick up a few groceries while we're out. Maybe we can ride the SxS this evening late.
Mike, glad to hear your BIL is doing better.
Share a smile, lend a hand, be encouraging and kind.

    Good FHC morning.

Over the last couple of days, I got the lawn mowed for the first time. I could have waited another day or two but.... the next day, I spread the weed and feed. It doesn't take as long as a mowing job.

Still waiting for burn bans to be lifted. :headbang:

Caught one walleye on the opener and missed three.

The swarming little black gnats are out and making the outdoors miserable.

Good morning, ya'll. Hope ya'll have a MARVELOUS MONDAY. Goat Town Weather Channel says it's 60⁰ this morning, heading to the upper 80's. Woke up too early...about 2:30...:headbang::picard:...had a thunderstorm last night early. Headed to work, start my 6AM-6PM shift for the week.
It's a good day to have a great day

Good morning everyone! I'm going to do a transfer station run with the old mattress and other accumulated junk. Three hot days starting today.

    Good morning, members.

Warm day. 61⁰/85⁰ sunny. Humidity in check. Hoping for ocean breezes to reach us this far inland. ~30 miles.

We got my BIL home. He still had a heart valve issue that'll be addressed in a week or three.

I'm planning to get some trigger time in this morning. There's some accumulated fallen branches needed to be cleaned up as well, as a couple of small EWP's to remove. They're in the way.

Unsure of what else might fall my way.

    Be safe
    Be healthy

    Good morning FHC-ers!

T-storm rolled through and more on the way.

Not much wind today so the bugs will be in another feeding frenzy when you're outside. :picard:

I hope they can help your BIL. As for the heat/air thing, we don't get that wild but some early morning heat can feel good into June. When we were yoopers, we never figure we were done using the wood stove as nights can get quite chilly all summer long. We used to laugh a lot especially around St Ignace when folks would come north because it was so hot to the south but they were not prepared for UP weather. I fondly recall one day in mid August when the high temp was in low 50's. Folks would bundle up as much as they could but were still cold. lol The next week it hit 80.

Skeeters will be swarming soon. Yes, the scouts have been out for a while but this week should see the big hatch.

Morning all. Gorgeous sunrise but predicting rain this afternoon.

It has been a hectic week. Lily went to the vet on Monday to be spay. She is in prison and Lady just wants someone to play with. Thankfully they gave us sedatives to keep Lily low key. Day eight now and it is only the drugs that are keeping Lily calm. She is ready to rock. Two more days to go.
I ended up working on Friday and we made a trip down island on Wednesday. Who said you have nothing to do when you retire? Not likely.

Long weekend here this weekend. Victoria day. It doesn't seem to matter as much when you are retired, just that most of the stores are closed.

Someone coming to look at the RV we put up for sale so I am not going over to visit Mom today. Maybe tomorrow. Had to believe that she will 101 on Thursday. My brother will over for a short visit as well.

Yard work and lots of shredding to do today. Maybe watch the Jays win/lose tonight.

theburtman I hope you enjoy the new mattress. We got one for my mother's guest room and everyone likes it. We got one for the RV before our long trip and it was far better than the original one in the RV.

    Everyone have a great day.

Happy early birthday to your mom. That is a wonderful milestone.
Are ya'll selling your camper that you made the long trip in?

Yes we are. No trips in the foreseeable future so no point in having it as lawn ornament. Depreciation is fast in RVs. Hard to believe it is 6 years old and our trip started two years ago about this time.
