    Oak here. Sometime next winter I might even be able to say maple or cottonwood in addition to oak.

    No fire. 50 degrees and 80 degrees predicted after some storms pass through this morning. So far I've heard only one roll of thunder.

    It stormed hard on the West Michigan coast. Woke up about 2:45, rolled around until 330
    when the thunder started. Decided to just get up.

    That thing seems to be building and some bad looking radar just south of me now. Lots more thunder. So far the rain is not heavy here.

    Amazing. at 4:00 am it was 61 degrees and that is the low so far. This does not look good for us with summer still over a month away. What might we see in July and August? I'm thinking about making plans for this summer and it definitely includes driving north, preferably on the shore of Lake Superior.

    It got to 84° yesterday. Very hot. Today not so much, but it's still nowhere near stove firing up temperature
