    My brother (3 years younger) had open heart surgery on Monday where they replaced a valve. He went home today. Amazing!

    Top temp here yesterday was 42* - and I'm quite a bit south of you. At least it warmed up since there was frost in the early AM. Frost free date isn't until late May, and there have been summers where there were 3 days at beginning of July that the highs were in the low 40's, so nothing unusual here.

    Rained all day yesterday starting about 9AM (so at least not snow) and got about 3/4". Since we are down something like 16" since this time last year, I only need 12 more days like that.

    I swear the teenagers go to bed when you get up.. probably later;)
    But really glad your flowers (which are so pretty) are getting rain, off to help friend with mother day gift

    Great! It can be amazing what they can do now. I not forget when we lost my father-in-law following open heart surgery back in the early 80's. Then my mother had it in late 90's. Her's was successful.

    The weather is just about perfect today. Sunny, breezy, and 70. Things are finally drying out.

    On the other side of the coin, the mosquitos are something from satan's nightmares. I don't dare go outside after dark. Unbelievable year for them.

    Got a little woods time in this morning. Planting the garden tomorrow.
