Do you just eyeball all your cuts, or is there a method to the madness?

I have a stick cut to 14.75 that I carry in the Rhino , I mark every log I cut, we'll never have a problem getting the door on the Lopi shut again.

Nice! I use florescent marking tape cut at 18", lay it on the log so when the chain starts ripping, the tape blows right off..

My wife had a f--k of a time one day closing the door, that's when I changed to cutting shorter.

The date stamp (bottom right) blends in with the picture, I think the date is 5/24/13 on one of the pictures.

My wife tried to close the door on our wood stove with a piece that was a little tight once. I think the new glass was like a little over 100 bucks!

I measure every downed tree I cut, the 14.75 gives us plenty of room between the end of the split and the glass, it will take 16 inch but that puts it real close to the glass.
