    Not the canoes.
FB marketplace a few days ago. Saw a request to dump oak logs within 10 minutes of a highway exit. Hey that’s me LOL Ad only 30 minutes old. Responded, they responded back. Said they were coming. Never showed. I forgot about it.
Today they showed up. Oh well better late than never.
Dropped two loads. One more on the way.

Whole bunch of compost mixed in the first load. Dog approved anyway.

Some sweet primo logs there. Nice that you have room for them as I've always said!

Another GTG may be in order!

You gonna make a some banjos out of it? :D

There’s some nice black birch in there. Wonder if that’s good for banjos?

I saw the BB. Knowing you and BB have a history  I may have to take it off your hands! ;)

I know birch plywood is a thing for finish carpentry.

I built a 4 foot level out of 200 strips of birch veneer. Guess you could say I made my own plywood

Must be a work of art. I know those laminated mahogany levels with brass inlay are popular among your trade.

Dang! Nice load of wood and compost. Win win. Wonder if they’ll bring more.

I’m guessing I’m not getting the FHC helicopter for a weekend but I’m sure the FHC You Suck trophy is available

Third load arrived last night. Neither I nor the dog saw him backing into the processing area. I’ll blame that on the dog, that’s her job.

You could say that. Never seen another one anything like it LOL.

That’s not paint, that’s 200 strips of through dyed birch wood epoxied together with an epoxy clear coat. It was the idea of the wave in half the flag that intrigued me enough to build it.

That is a work of art. Bet you could get a pretty penny for that with the semiquincentennial

Yep, you definitely get the award. That's some nice logs, some big ones too. Happy that came through for you.

Great job building that level. Very nice
