All aspects of site loading extremely slowly

Is it just me? Liking a post takes forever. Changing threads takes a long time to load. Posting takes ages to load. Jut loading the site is almost enough to make me give up and go elsewhere. All my other sites work like lightening on my relatively new computer. Used to work well here also. I use Firefox. Any ideas? Thanks, Russ

Forum is slow and glitchy

 

One minute it works totally fine, the next its like
1. click page, go make a sammich
2.read page/click like, eat sammich
3. click next page, eat dessert
4. try to load new pic, go take a nap.

I think its buZZsaw BRADs fault...his sigs taking up too much bandwidth...

Just had the same thing happen...

 

Good excuse to buy a couple more saws and make it even longer!

 

Yeah, first thing I noticed after coming back after awhile. Very possible it is the hosting.

I ran a couple test and TTFB (time to first byte) is really bad. ttfb basically measures time between a user action and server response.

You should be under 300ms on a good host. FHC is showing ttfb of 6-8 seconds most times I check.



Usually this means there are severe resource issues on the server or on the account, often CPU.
