We are building Miz Carol a nice flower bed for her bearded irises and tulips that will come this fall. This cherry tree was on the corner and I knew would be dropping cherry seeds in the bed First the 2 main limbs had to come off, used a friend's L3901 and 2 totes strapped together and to the forks. Also trimmed up some limbs on the water oak beside it... The cherry limb over the flower bed... Decided we could take the whole tree down, so added 3 more totes to stack...about 20' high...I think it's OSHA approved......supervisor was a bit Had to get rope up high, then top it...powerline wouldn't allow single drop. Top safely on ground Trimmed back the big oak limb while I was up there... Our neighbor, Mike came over. He stayed and helped with clean up... Im safely on the ground, climbing the totes is fairly easy... Got a nice pile of cherry and a bit of oak to process now.
Well, you do like to stay on top of things! I was wondering how in the heck you got in the cage? Pretty flexible for a guy your age. Nice improvising and hats off for getting it down safely.
