Little backstory on this one… My wife and I were in Orlando last week; I was attending a conference for work. As usual, I was looking at stuff for sale online during downtime. Came across a listing in town (back home of course) for firewood. There were two people ahead of me. I guess one backed out and the other couldn’t take it all. The “seller” was moving and wanted it all gone. Between checking out of the hotel and the airport, we agreed on a day and time. I hooked up the trailer and headed over this AM. Took the wheelbarrow with me as well. Got there around 9, loaded up and was home in about an hour. Seems like mostly Maple, with some other random rounds in there as well. Has some nice checking, so I imagine it’s been sitting for awhile. This was the first scrounge with Trailer Swift! She did great. We’ve hauled a bunch with her and this was a good test for firewood. Of course, some pics:
My condolences for having to do to Florida during spring break time but hey you got some wood! When you got Back!
Thanks guys! Yeah, April in FLA can be interesting! Things weren’t too bad at the hotel during the week. By Thursday, there was a cheerleading competition somewhere in the area, so things got really busy at the hotel. It was pretty mobbed by the time we left Friday. Ronaldo, Thanks; here’s a thread I created about the trailer: Ohio Steel 5x8 Utility Trailer
