Live from the 2026 West Michigan GTG

Cindy and I got home around 10:30.
I've been mowing my hay field ( front lawn ) since.

 

Made it home about 1 pm. I had a great time hanging out with you guys, and it was a really neat place to stay. Thanks Adam

 

Made a couple stops on the way home, but finally got home a little before 5...mostly unloaded now...I need a nap!
Thanks to Adam n crew for setting this all up, for the hours that Kevin and Dwight put in the meals, and Brad for donating his expertise and use of equipment to the center/our GTG. I'm sure that helped grease the wheels for the invitation back next year already!

 

Thank you for hosting such a fine event!!!! Anytime we get a chance to help out at risk kids I’m there! Even if it was just supporting the real heros by sprucing up the property a little. The staff at the center there are top notch in my book. It really was my pleasure to be a small part of the work they are doing there.

I was a little too busy to take much in the way of
after the first day but I found the s’mores stash in the mess hall


I also found an excellent pitch mass borer larvae specimen on the side of a failing blue spruce

 

Home. Unpacked and returned the rental.

Heart Doctor left a message. He says I'm not allowed to hang out with Kevin and Dwight any more.
