A few loads from a new score, mostly oak, some ash & cherry. Big stuff, had to quarter it to lift it. After a couple of loads, we brought the splitter there and split into the truck. 20260403_151918.jpg 20260404_155910.jpg

I almost didnt get out with this load . Thanks be to God that I did . Left a rear diff track through the mud for about 50 feet at one intersection that gets bright sun for many hours of the day .

Added to the firewood collection this afternoon, half red oak, half white oak. The tool box has to go. It takes up valuable firewood space. 20260411_160708.jpg

    Nice load!

Yeah the tool box is a PITA when you need the room. Years back in my old F150 I made it so I could easily remove it when needed. After a while I got too lazy to put it back in.

I will probably css the big pin and willow oak rounds first. I need to replenish my personal use racks. We moved 8 heaped 1 ton dump loads to my house yesterday. I feel better. :stacker:

Unexpected score yesterday, part of a large sugar maple came down. I’ll get the rest after the ground dries out.

this was a neighbor down the road. IMG_1888.jpeg
