A cool day and some ash

    Temps in the 30's and 40's perfect cutting weather. A couple dead ash on the fence in a pasture that the Angus need to graze.
    Did the majority with the little Echo 400.

    Much better conditions than last week. Im nowhere near as productive in the warmer weather. Had the sweatshirt on most of the day.

    Nice looking load LP. How good was the meat on that?

    Nice day for it...I grabbed a load after work too.
    This is just the first of many many (many!) loads from my tree fishing expedition at work a week or two back.
    Matter of fact, that is the same log in both pics.
    The biggest part of the trunk is still there...I ran outta steam to hoist those bigger rounds up that high.
    I would normally load those first, but that wasn't gonna work with how the tree was laying, and with the access I had to it.
    Really surprised how solid this ash is still! Heavy, and dry! I'll burn some of this next winter I'm sure.
