    Now that you mention it the gas was bubbling when I opened the gas cap when it wouldn't hot start. Looked like a carbonated beverage.

    Never knew there was Winter and Summer grade fuels

    My dealer who is a die hard stihl guy won't even touch that stuff.

    The one kid at our local dealer that is a true saw nut, and really knows his stuff, said the same thing...they have to tow the company line for Stihl, but he said if someone specifically asks, he steers them away from it.
    I don't miss it...the stuff stinks! (exhaust smell, not quality...well, both actually!)

    I've yet to need to move one to winter setting. Even cutting in the 20's.

    Are you telling me Stihl Ultra is bad for your saw? Dang I thought the coking gave you higher compression.

    I think a specific secret sauce of temperature and humidity coupled with your hat color is required to ice up.
    Sawing my whole life and I didn't know that was a thing until I got a Stihl. Don't ever remember icing up even on the old carb out in the open saws.
