Also keep brush & mouse cover back from buildings. As one will notice with woodpiles, mice like to set up nests. The more open an area is, less inviting to mice.

Well after two weeks I finally had my first customer in the bucket. I gotta figure out what I'm doing wrong because that isn't even scratching the surface lol.

I have tried the bucket trap and didn’t catch anything. I figured it would be full by morning, but it sat for a month with no customers.

I have caught them in regular mouse traps just fine. I also have a rat problem, but that has been helped a lot by a suppressed 22lr with a night vision scope. Excellent success rate with that. 54 rats shot so far.

Ever try the bowl of root beer left out for them? (Ant-fest much?! :hair:)
I've always heard they can't burp, so get all bloated up (and die I guess?)
I never tried it personally though, so I dunno for sure...I would assume (there's that word) that you have to renew the flat root beer everyday (or more?)

What about some fly bait mixed in. Heard it works wonders on racoons. Can't imagine it would've work on mice.

I like old fashioned Victor spring traps with suet smeared on it.
