Just lit up for the morning and turned the furnace back down for the day. I can definitely tell it is warming up outside. Doesn’t take much of a fire to get close to 70 inside again.

    41. I lit a fire last night then just let it go out. Probably won't have one for a while now.

Temp around 50 with a wind chill when I lit the fire to start the charcoal. Splitter scraps in the pit and a porterhouse on the charcoal. DSCF0814.JPG

    Mid 40's this morning.

There seems to be some snow missing from our yard and driveway. :sherlock:

Upper 30's for temps a little bit ago. Light rain.

Not sure if we’re done burning for the season. I’m guessing probably.

It's actually been pretty mild. We had 102* in March but then it's settled back down to normal. [IMG]

39* overnight so a half day fire today. Funny that now we are at the end of the burning season a few random sticks of 5 year old White Oak are rolling out of the back of the woodshed along with the usual Doug Fir. Have to be careful of that stuff or you will find yourself with a "too warm house" at bed time!

Currently burning kilowatts, the A/C is on. My car said 86 on the commute home today. House was 80 when I got there. Too hot to sleep, so.. it begins. :dennis:
