One last load was needed to fill the wood shed so off we all went to gather firewood. Went to a spot where Campinspecter has been before and had always driven by this log. Today, we stopped and checked it out. Nice fir log that went in the truck very quickly. Here are a few shots of Campinspecter in action. My part isn't as interesting as I get to load the truck. Next log was dragged out of the pile after a test cut showed it was also a nice fir log just waiting to go with us. Finally the truck was full and time to head home. Here is a video for you bigbarf48 of the wood splitter working.
Arrived at home and although all the pics are of Campinspecter doing all the work, I did help. I get to crawl in the back and hand out the wood. And finally the wood shed is full for a while. Again the FHC shirts say it all!!!
Like the Bugs Bunny show used to say "That's All Folks". Going to have to burn some wood, then we get to go out again!
Timing was everything. Sat down for lunch after unloading the truck and the skies opened up with rain. Time for a nap then playing on FHC.
Pizza, yes !Hot Chocolate with marshmallows, yes! Beer, No. For me I can't stop at just one so I don't stop. Don't like hangovers , so the solution is not to sober up, NOT FUN!
You two are an inspiration to us all! Great action pics and awesome video! That splitter with the dog lift 4 way wedge and fast cycle speed is a great piece of equiptment! Great lsndscape too, and rockin the fhc shirts!
You never know what size of log we will find. Anything from 12" dia to 4 ft dia. Bigger saws are safer as well.
