    We have k-8 in town and choice of high schools.. the high school charges town per pupil per year 17k was average between 2020 thru 2024

    so the cost of my now 21 year olds high school education grades 9-12 was just under $68,750

    I don’t mind paying for education; BUT I like to get what I pay for. Daughter choose not to attend college BUT dad will fund $$ for book reports on books I choose .:whistle: Especially if going into her Roth 401k currently she’s reading “how to win friends and influence people”

    Pretty sure it is up to $20k per pupil in my town. Oh wait, that figure is from a couple of years ago. Here are the figures for 2024-25 school year (link is to a PDF) at the all around average of $26.3k

    The freighter that ran aground on our west coast has sustained a good bit of damage over the past year. Hopefully I can see her in person before she's removed.
