Epic Wood Day 2026 is tomorrow!

Weather looks good thus far. Will add some pics. Hoping to move/handle about 19 cords this year.

 

Years go by fast and an annual tradition at Greg's place and the FHC. Looking forward to the pics.

I remember when that area was first cleared and the concrete backstop were placed.

Got everything rolled up, and filled up, and even a backstop built. new for this year is wife of helper brought a drone for fun.

Was there a lot more help than in past years? Any guess as to how much wood was moved?

 

That's quite the operation, and the drone pics really show the scope of the amount better than regular pics.

 

I think 16 went into Leanto, 3 to helpers and maybe 5 into the stacked end cap. We had 19 people, most ever. Thankful for these friends beyond expression.
