46° out/ 71° in when I went back and reloaded the stove at lunch and let the pups out.

Pine of some sort and ash on ash coals from this am.

Looks to be rainy and slightly chilly this week, for parts of the week. I'll burn below 50°. There's temps near 70 though by next weekend.

I imagine it'll get even colder before it starts to warm today.

Ended up with near 8" of snow that had to be moved yesterday. I did break down and use the plow on the paved parking area and "cleaned up" around the gates. But, I didn't use it on the gravel at all. I don't need to create more work raking the gravel back onto the driveway in a couple weeks from now!

It was forecasted to get down to 25 here, but I’m guessing it only dropped to around freezing. It’s 37 now and climbing. Sassafras in the stove.

42/65. Just lit a fire for wife so she’s not cold. High is supposed to stay under 50. 4 splits of chestnut oak, one black locust.

Woke up to 65 in the house still from last night. Furnace hasn’t run yet! Oak burning now. Unfortunately our coffee pot decided it was quitting its job this morning.

    28 at the moment.

No fire. I'm thinking maybe later this morning if at all.

I built a fire in the basement NC-30 yesterday afternoon and warmed it up to 71 down there.
