Tamiya Blackfoot progress.

 

Started the restoration on Big Bear Datsun pick up truck from the 80s.

 

Fantastic! As you know, that was my first hobby grade RC.

 

Amazing how little there is. It is like skill level zero.

It’s headed to the shelf when done.

 

Yeah, they were pretty basic.

Lol. I'm currently painting the Team Associated RC10GT. After that it will be the Blackfoot body.

I think a radio control dozer, excavator and dump truck would be cool to have. The ones capable of actual small scale work are big dollars.

I botched the body on the rc10gt so I moved on to the Tamiya blackfoot body. Ill order another body for the rc10gt and do better...hopefully.

The blackfoot body is a hard shell thats painted on the outside vs the clear polycarbonate bodies you paint on the inside. I'll attach all the chrome and windows this weekend.
