It's all your fault...I'm sending you the bill Not sure yet how I'll be using them. I already have almost a cord of uglies/shorts/chunks in my old pallet bins with probably at least two more cords of similar stuff to process (lots of big limbs from all those old oaks I had taken down). The pallet bins have held up surprisingly well considering I slapped them together back in 2021. I may end up keeping the 'nice' splits for stacks and use the IBCs for all the 'non-stackable' splits/pieces. Tempted to start selling off some of the extraneous stuff but there are already several people selling firewood in the area and I don't want to be one of 'those' guys who cuts in on their action. I don't need to sell the firewood and may end up just giving some of it away to a couple people I know who are a bit down on their luck.
I'm gonna leave this here. Be sure to scroll through the pics in the post! 275 & 330 Gallon IBC totes.. WATER-FIREWOOD-SCRAP-OIL ETC # in 6th pic - Water Storage & Rain Barrels - Little Chute, Wisconsin | Facebook Marketplace | Facebook
That's great. The totes work great for chunk storage. I know you've seen the way we do ours. And giving some away to those in a tight spot is such a blessing to both parties...
Once you start putting in the splits and not worrying about precise stacking, you'll love it and it goes so much faster! Not to mention, Not worrying about the stacks falling over... We won't go there...
