Augie... with your solar kilns... when covering a crib/rack of wood, does the clear sheeting have to be tape sealed at joints or is it enough to just overlap? Do you leave the bottom edge just touching the ground or does the entire "package" need to be airtight? Does the sheeting have to be kept off the wood a few inches or can it touch the wood? I may want to do more than just top cover my 2 cribs. I'm using clear greenhouse tarp material.

    Here is the thread

Wrap it top sides and bottom, I just overlap the plastic and use twine around the stack to hold the plastic in place. You need to have plastic on the bottom for sure, keeps more heat in the stack.

As an example the air temp was in the 40's this morning and is only 50 now, but the stack is already in the high 60"s and I bet she will reach the 90's or just touch 100 by this afternoon as the skys are clear and should be all day.

Well... the chances I'm gonna re-stack both cribs to put clear material under it is zero... so, would you bother wrapping sides and top or do you think it'll lose too much heat?

Wont hurt, I have done a couple of stacks like this at my parents place, the top half seasoned quicker for sure, the bottom half not so fast, but plastic is cheap, and it doesn't take much time to do it, so I would.
