    I hate steel toes. They are heavy and make my toes cold. I have a pair of composite toes and you'd never know they aren't soft toes.

    I used up all my good luck yesterday. Took the SxS for a ride in the woods and it was really windy. Not even 30 seconds after I drove down a hill a 6" red oak limb fell on the trail and stuck 24" in the ground.

    Plus you can get wide toe box on some composite toe boots. Steel toes always take out my toes.

    I hate steel toed boots. Even working through the years I fortunately have never had a problem. Well, it was quite uncomfortable when a cow would step on your toes. :hair:

    Thanks Lady, true, we don't bounce back. Yesterday my knee was very upset and I gimped all day and day thought this will take weeks to heal. This morning its SO much better thankfully. Taking full non sideways/gimp strides.

    Winter is back today, and I'm not here for it. 20 out right now, but supposed to be 70 by the weekend. I have some brush clearing and driveway fixing to do at a new property my BIL bought, but I don't feel like getting that cold today.

    Kinda out of small ankle biter projects so I guess I'll wait until later in the week for the next big one. I'm removing the SS chimney from the retired wood stove. It won't be a bad job other than patching the hole in the roof. I don't think I can get the flashing out without a big mess so I've decided to just cut out whatever is exposed and whatever flashing is under the shingles will stay that way.

    Not the best time of year to be selling chimney, but I should be able to get a few bucks for it on FBM.

    Realtors came out today and looked at the house. It's a team of 3. Took dimensions and listened to my ideas. Supposed to evaluate a couple different options and get back with me early next week.

    Why realtors instead of carpenters?

    I don't know of any realtors around these parts that I would even begin to ask their ideas on remodeling.

    It would amount to just listening to their opinions.
