Well now, that seems reasonable and quite doable to me also.

It actually sounds a little like common sense, so it will never fly.

Morning all. Overcast with drizzle this morning.

Welcome to Pacific time. Our province will never change clocks again. This was the last time. So in the winter we are the same time as Alberta (Mountain time) and in the summer the same as the three states below us (Pacific Daylight time). We will see how next winter turns out.

I am feeling much better today but still going to take it easy. Men's semi and final curling matches for the Canadian championship. Our favourite teem is out of the running for the final. This is their final competition as a team as the skip is retiring. Team Gushue from Newfoundland. When we were in St. John's, NFL, we took pictures of the curling rink they play out of.

    Everyone have a great day.

I guess we will have to agree to disagree, my friend...:handshake:...
If I was retired or self-employed like Sawdust Man , I can understand your position...
    Here's mine...
I have worked rotation shifts for nearly 37 years...30 years of 8hr shifts...11-7, 3-11, 7-3, in that order with only a few days off each month...
Been working 12hr shifts almost 7 years now, we were swapping at 6:30, but changed to 6. Have more days off per month, usually...but can't control the weather. It's nice to get off at 6PM and be able to go to the woodyard without a flashlight to even get started...
In the winter, it's dark when I leave for work and dark when I get home.
Hopefully I won't have to do this but another year or so.

    Good morning, members.

The March thaw is well underway. 36⁰/64⁰ full sun calm. 60's and above freezing for the next few days.

I'd like to bring wood to the deck rack, if the ground isn't too squishy. Looking to bring up some shoulder season wood.

I just might dig out my firepit. The Outdoor Fire thread has me wanting to have a fire while the weather is so nice.

    Be safe
    Be healthy

Good morning, ya'll. Hope ya'll have a MARVELOUS MONDAY. 61⁰/81⁰ mostly cloudy and foggy. Another smooth night down, 1 more to go. Taking our friend, Kenny, over to the quarry this morning, to haul a load of gravel to his house for them. We'll see if there's time afterwards for anything else to be done.
Share a smile, lend a hand, be encouraging and kind.
It's a good day to have a great day.
    GOD LOVES YOU AND ME

I am so thankful we don't have that squishy ground every spring. The joy of living on sand.

It wasn't too bad. There wasn't as much melting overnight , so there wasn't much standing water to be squishy. The squishy factor is sure to go up once the melting is in full force.

Here frozen ground is solid, duh right, as spring temperatures rise top 2 inches thaws and we get squishy as ground slowly thaws

Yikes!!! Winter is back. Just a light covering yesterday afternoon but this morning we have over an inch of the white stuff. Freezing temps when I got up this morning.

Dentist trip today so I hope the roads aren't too bad. It will be pretty on the way down island.

    Everyone have a great day.
