Last window casing in the front porch is done. Also, a situation arose where inches mattered, so I came up with a solution to recess the toilet into the wall. I covered the section with slats and when the rest of the wall is finished, I will wrap the edges similar to a window casing.

We still have snow drifts here. Bare ground in between. It's not really snow any more, more like granular slush. It's almost like the last of the "loose granular" ice on the ski slopes.
Still haven't fixed my mailbox from getting hit by the plow. That's on the list for today. Maybe see if I can get down any of the trails yet. It has been quite warm, even overnight.

Spring is springing here in southern PA. Had just over 70 yesterday and expected to be 75 today. Only complaint, I've seen a few flies already. Should be getting the scooter warmed up for the commute to work but I don't feel like suiting up for the current 40 degrees.

Amazing we hit our first 70 degree day yesterday and set a new record high. It felt good to do some outdoor work without wearing Carharts. Feels chilly this morning and the temperature may not rise. Possible ice tonight.

Well, we have had several days in the mid 70’s and that’s all it took for the carpenter bees and yellow jackets to wake up:picard:From now on will need to make sure not to leave any doors open unless screen doors are closed!

I saw a mosquito yesterday. It was mid 70's. Milwaukee set a record of 72°, which demolished the old record of 67°.

Definitely colder today it's 38° here. But at least there's no chance of tornados here because of that.

We are currently under a winter storm warning. Snow is piling up. I thought that maybe, I wouldn't have to plow tomorrow but it doesn't look that way any longer.
