    I love doing finish carpentry, we did 10 staircases in a condo back in 07..... very enjoyable work.

    Nice. I'm thinking you'll be painting it as the rest of the trim is all painted? Or would you really make it stand out by staining it?

    Morning all. Frosty this morning with partial overcast. I think the sun will shine until later today when the rain moves in.

    Business meeting went well and we cleaned the church afterward. Today it is watching curling, bookkeeping and maybe, just maybe getting the rest of the desk cleaned off.

    T.Jeff Veal Have a fun, safe trip. I liked the ice fishing house. turn it into a sewing room, not ice fishing.

    Sloppy day ahead. Snow/ice/rain starting before noon. 14⁰/34⁰

    Before all that stops falls, I'll get some grocery shopping done.

    I just threw into a slow cooker/crackpot, the ingredients for split pea soup. Tomorrow's lunch. Always better the next day.

    Keeping an eye on the moon turning red due to the eclipse. I experienced this once before. Years ago while camping in NH. Quite the memory of it.

    Good afternoon, ya'll. 63⁰ cloudy and breezy off the lake. Had brunch with @Nitro Dave and his wife. They escaped the cold in Michigan about a month ago, been down in Fla, stopped in West Ga for a few days. We will be grilling steaks tonight and have them over. Been nice catching up, haven't seen him since '19.
