Funny video. I am firmly between Gen X and Gen Y, but many of those thing mentioned hit home....same wardrobe since 1994, yeah, I still wear tshirts that are over 15 years old. When I get something new, it has to fit that "style"

I picked up my old carhartt coat yesterday. I had took it to get a new zipper in. The cashier smiled and said that should last a couple more years before you buy a new one. When I said it was purchased sometime around 1980 you should have seen the looks on faces!

Yup, many items of old clothing here too.

I've got wool socks older than your coat.

One group of T-shirts at least 30-35 years old.

30 year old carhart jacket replaced one that was a hand me down. That hand me down was from the 50's! I should have entered that one in the "ugly duck" carhart contest that they used to have.

Do you think that maybe we should put items like this in our wills? Wouldn't want them to fall into the wrong hands and be dripped off at goodwill! :picard:

HuffyGang here. My consolation of never having any of the 'nice' bikes was that I had my own 4-wheeler.

Why would I throw out perfectly good clothes in hopes of impressing someone else? Not having any style is my style. lol

Nice little nugget from the 90s. Includes commercials for full immersion. :) (Time Life ads  ) This was just before AOL started mailing everyone CD Roms and phones didn't show videos yet. I was busy in HS making miniature copies in the library of content in text books. I like to think I was a pioneer there. Hey, if you're going to use the text verbatum for testing then you leave yourself vulnerable. lol

I wasn't able to adapt for a solid 8-9 years. My disc collection started in 93 when I got a job to be able to buy them. Mom's car and a Walkman were the only way I could listen.

We didn't have Frodo in the 80s. We had Atreyu.

Many lessons were contained. This remains the most powerful of them IMO.

Labyrinth and Willow also crossed my mind. And lest we forget Krull.

I wasn’t on board for a few years either. A friend of mine was the first to jump in. I remember it well, he bought this cd and his first player when it came out.

Had no idea who they were but it definitely changed our music tastes forever.

I got to hear Cornell with them in the mid 90s. One of my top trump cards of concerts I have attended. Ramones right up there also. Goocher is that I saw them on the same stage, same date. Metallica was the 'also ran' that night. LOL $32 ticket I think.

Wow, wish I could have seen them/him, and AIC. 2 of the greatest singers of our time IMO. I saw Metallica on the Justice tour ‘89, then 4 more times on the Black album tour. Now I’m not so much a fan. Fun times they were.
