From my FIL and then BIL garage. I haven’t started it but just picked up the wheels from the tire store with new tread.
Been stored always in garage, so in running condition what would be a fair proce for this thing?

So you already bought new tires for it?
Around here one that age would go for about the price of new tires...or lil less...I see newer looking ones for free sometimes that supposedly just need a carb clean.

I was gonna say, the new tires are probably worth more than the machine. Despite it's great condition, not many people will pay for something that old when they expect to use it reliably. Fixing things/keeping things running seams to be a lost art.

Yes, i figured it may be a loss, but selling with tires dry rotted so much they were shredded. Looks like i better put it in the auction house stuff. Folks go8 g to the auction house are hands on, so it will get about as high a price as can be had.

Been trying to sell a toro power SHIFT from the eighties, total working condition. Snowiest Winter in years. Not one real buyer on CL in 2 months @100 bucks. Ancient snowblowers are undesirable and the market is always flooded. Take any offer.

Hope it goes to a good home. Still would last longer than the plastic stuff sold today.
