    I swapped the light bulbs for LEDs today. Hard to tell from the picture but seems to have helped. The old ones were pathetic. I still need to mount some pods for extra light in front and rear too. PXL_20260215_211619516.MP.jpg

    Looks good. We finally added extra lights to our canopy...got a 20" light bar for Christmas. Mounted it on the front and moved the 2 6" bars to the back. Going to replace those, as they are cheap chinesium ones, couple of the LEDs are out on the right side. 20251226_125638.jpg 20251226_125652.jpg

    It was so complex and complicated I couldn't do a thread on it...:loco: :crazy::whistle:
    So we just asked the dealer to add it when we bought the tractor. :thumbs::thumbs::picard::picard:
    I like it, being aluminum, it can be bent back to shape instead of breaking like the fiberglass ones...
    Guess how I know...:whistle::picard:
    I think it was about $750.

    I'd love to get a canopy and high mount lights, but I have to keep my ROPS folded for clearance into my shop and in the woods.

    I had owned my subcompact utility John Deere a few hours. I knew the ROPS had to be down to put it in the garage, but it wasn't ingrained yet. I was heading for the garage, ROPS up, fat, dumb, and happy. My wife is running toward me waving her arms. Thank heaven I saw her. ROPS hasn't been up since.

    Before we got the L4802, I measure the height of the tractor shed (carport) and made sure it would fit. If we had gotten a bigger tractor with cab, we would probably have had to jack up the shelter, like we did 1 side of the camper shed. Glad we didn't have to do that. Only have had a small tree bend the canopy when we were working on a side hill and I didn't see it. It bent back fairly easy.
    I know everyone's situation is different

    I ended up mounting some lights to folded down ROPS. I don't seen myself ever folding it up.

    Yep, and I ended up adding a fuse block to the back of the tractor and now I have 100A available for other activities/attachements.

    Wow, that's great. Did you run a separate wire to the battery?

    I had some 4AWG from another project that I ran direct to the battery (with a 100 amp breaker).
