Yup, there have been sightings of them for a couple weeks now, even up here!
They were chirping up a storm on Saturday...

In the 30 plus years that we’ve lived out here on our acreage we use the robins as our snow forecasters. Every single time a day or two before the bad weather arrives we will have large flocks of robins in the yards, visiting the feeders and probing the ground for worms…….Has never failed once! Other than that I don’t observe that we see them otherwise. Anyone else have this experience?

TrinitySouth99 I have been watching the show "East Harbor Heros" on TV and they do show Oceanex freighters, the same company you depict in some of your pictures. Are you aware of that show and do they do any filming close to where you are?

It will be a few weeks before the red winged black birds make their way up here. I use those as harbingers of spring since they are truly migratory. Robins are wishy-washy, with some leaving and some staying. I rarely see robins in the winter, but that may be more a comment on where I live as to anything. It is not unusual for people not to far from me to post pictures on FB of robins in winter.

Kids down road said they were cold waiting for bus. So I could find a pointy shovel in the barn.. by time it melts they won’t need it..

I'll have a regular good donut for fat Tuesday. Paczkis suck. All that fat and calories in a sub optimal donut.

I agree! And they cost more than the far superior jelly donut too!

I was told by a friend with very polish heritage that paczkis taste horrible to remind you how crappy life is.

He also said " life is like a turd sandwich, every day you just have to bite off a little bit".

    :D

Ugg. Today's crappy day at work got worse. Picked
Picked up some shrapnel in my back right tire. Had to have been in the road, I didn't have to off-road to day.

I got the full size regular Steelie spare on. I called in to my local shop and they'll hopefully be able to patch it.

Any idea what it could be?

I'll find out tomorrow. It lost a couple of psi but held 28 psi when the wheel was removed.

I had one "paczki of death" as I refer to it. You know, the ones coated in the powdered sugar that sometime gets mistakenly inhaled when eating? :headbang:

I ended up having two of them. One blueberry and one raspberry. one powdered sugar and one glazed. Lets face it.....they are only overstuffed bismarck's when you come right down to it.

There are 3 leftovers sitting on the counter....

Lent begins today with the observance of Ash Wednesday.

With the poor weather, I wouldn't be surprised if our services are cancelled. There's all kinds of weather caused closing across the U.P. today.
