Nice digs, but it's no sugar shack! Lol Count me in on a bunk! Probably keeping the alien signalling magnesium enhanced mega swedish candles outside? I thought I recall that they had logging done and have tree tops that can be made into firewood for the campers?
The Lansing school district uses this as an outdoor education facility for mostly middle school age students. We’ll be doing whatever Ben the Camp director identifies as important with regard to property maintenance mainly focused on trees/firewood. Like Tom said it’s my understanding they had some logging done so likely cleaning up tops and turning them into firewood. I’ll also potentially be doing some arborist type stuff around their buildings.
Brad kindly volunteered his real certified arborist skills to do some correct pruning etc. We the plebes will make & split some campfire wood and clear some trails. They don't have to pay for the work, and we get free lodging and a place to hang out.
If we behave Ben has given the go ahead for the long term. Pretty good chance of this being a long range deal I think.
Have it on the calendar. Planning on coming up Wednesday or Thursday but will stay at the hotel we were last year. Looking forward to it.
Morning errbody. Are any of the attendees interested in my nephews nearly new chain grinder? It's an Oregon 620-120 with stand. Same unit as the Tecomec Super Jolly. Its only sharpened 10 chains at the most. $400 for grinder and stand with the tools and wheels it came with. I can bring it to Adam's gtgin April if interested.
This will sound mean but it's true... Because he's not sharp enough to properly use it and he's shuttling his small engine side gig.
Exactly. Im so sick of him I put him on permanent mute in signal so I only get a message if I remember to look.
