theburtman good luck with the appointment. If possible and it's not bothering you much, put surgery off until it warms up bit. I lived with my first hernia 18 years before repair. Had 2 since then.
And we all know THE GREAT PHYSICIAN, may JESUS give you HIS HEALING TOUCH

Hope everything turns out OK! Don't want to have a hernia when there is firewood to process!

Thanks. It is a hernia. I've been referred to a surgeon who will determine what is needed and how soon.

Sorry to hear that. At least, if you know it is a hernia, then there are a host of bad things that it is not. It can be a minimally invasive surgery if the tear is not too bad. Wish you the best. Please keep us posted. I would come finish processing your firewood for you but the doggone Lear Jet has a flat tire! Russ

If anyone had to go to alcohol rehab as a result of making farwood, that cost could probably be written off.

    Good morning, members.

After a couple inches of snow overnight, there's warming temps. 29⁰/40⁰ sunny

I'll be scraping down the decks and driveway. Rake snow off the roof.

It's mom's birthday! 96 and still moving forward. We'll be bringing her lunch in the form of lobster salad. We'll take her out when a less sloppy and warmer day shows up.

    Be safe
    Be healthy

    Good morning FHCers

Got some snow overnight. Not much but I'm still going to shovel the garage apron.

Very mild temps and some sunshine heading my way tomorrow.

    Dang!

I guess it's good that you caught it though. :handshake:

Hopefully, you're far enough ahead on the wood pile.

I think I'm good for next year. Recovery from surgery takes 4-6 weeks, so if I get it taken care of soon I will be ok for the following year. Most of what I cut/burn is dead, so fast drying.

Good morning, ya'll. Hope ya'll have a WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY. Goat Town Weather Channel says it's 58⁰ outside, 75⁰ inside, built a small fire last night, it's cooled down enough the fan isn't running......
Off today, so planning on making saw chips somewhere, wanted to go cut logs to bring home, but good chance of rain, so probably stay here on the woodyard. Got plenty here still to cut.
We got several things accomplished yesterday, taxes came out great, we got the little generator shelter built for our off grid neighbor and we CSS some wood.:sleeping: came quickly...
    Be blessed, be a blessing.
    GOD LOVES YOU AND ME.
