    Yes, sounds like my house

I'm trying to stay up on these things and fix stuff before it breaks fully, but some days you just can't get ahead.

Interesting. I know around here (Cali) cars ten years old or more go to a higher interest rate. Cars out west can last a long time.

SpeedQueen washers and dryers are still well made and repairable. I'd like to know a good fridge mfg, the ones at the big box stores are junk.

I was thinking 4-5 years. So good news is that I actually didn't think it was between a year ago and yesterday (as everything seems to be in mind). Bad news is that it didn't last nearly as long for you as I would have expected.

That's the last section of stud wall. Just need to finish strapping and then on to finish material.

I need to do the change but need to check to see if there is enough in the bank account...

On the seat, there is some good stick on patching now and it might save you a dollar or three.

You say that and I look at ours. When our last refer went bad I looked and looked but was not happy with what we found. Told my wife it was time to go home, but I still needed something at home Cheapo. Walking past the refers I spotted a big one on sale. Talked to someone and he said that was the last one of those but being so big he said people weren't buying.
Price was well over $1000 and I bought it for between 700-800. That was over 10 years ago and still going good. Sometimes you luck out.

Brother just replaced his washer. Was told to go with SpeedQueen with mechanical dial. First one was out of the box defective, but last I heard second one is still working fine.

If you want a nice fridge; get glass front door fridge from restaurant that’s going out of business. Is fridge only, but repairable simple

Got my new tractor seat installed. Looks and feels great. The backrest was in fine shape but the vinyl seemed pretty brittle and I was afraid it was going to crack too. I bought some VRP conditioner and it really brought it back to life. I ended up putting it on all the plastics and it made a big difference. Most of the plastics were super light gray before....not sure how long it will stay looking like this.

The steering wheel center cap is missing and I can't stomach spending $40 on a piece of plastic...so I'm going to draw one up tonight and 3D print a new one. It'll take about 5 minutes to draw and run through the slicer, and cost $0.05 in filament. I don't do this often enough to be good at it, so I probably won't get it right the first try.

Speed queen are made here in Wisconsin. If you want a good fridge, you have to buy a sub zero. Not cheap, but they are really the only residential units that are worth replacing the compressor, which is what typically goes out in about 10 years on box store stuff, and the last time I checked they were about 900 dollars for the compressor on these throw away fridges. Sub Zeros are made in Madison WI. I had a senior buyer position job offer at Sub-Zero years ago and backed away only because I didn't want to deal with moving/ selling our house and getting a different one.

I need a headlight restore kit for one light on the mini truck.

But, I don't really drive it at night anyway......
