14/71 just got the stove going again with red oak and ash. This morning I had it cranking with some red oak and tulip poplar. That mix left me with enough coals for an easy relight this evening.

A mexi restaurant and Walmart were the only places open when I drove home this afternoon.
I saw a video of folks snowmobiling nearby.

18/70, smaller oak splits. Supposed to have a warm up here this week, highs in the low 40s, lows in the 20s. Hopefully that will start to melt all of the ice thats been here the past week or so.

26/68. Pushed some snow in the firewood processing area yesterday so hoping we get some sun to speed melting along and get back to it!

Back to 14º this morning again at 0530. :shiver: I was nearly "cold Iron" when I opened the stove door, wind was HOWLING all night. A few good coals left, threw some split up kindling and in 15 minutes had the o'l girl going again. 3 nice Oak splits burning away. 68º currently inside. :)

9/68 just reloaded with white oak. Supposed to get up to 27 today. Should be able to take care of some blown downs today or maybe start clearing an area for a micro foodplot.

Another mild overnight temps for us. We already hit out high temp for the day; they will drop throughout the day here.

I fired up way too much last night. Woke up with way too warm temps and opened the window for quite some time.
