Taking the boys to the city today, Sam's 17th b-day was yesterday and we're getting him a new guitar but I want him to be able to pick it out himself.

I was told by dealerships that the charge is right around 500-ish for installing heated seats (front) in a car. I'm sure that a non-dealership repair shop could do it for much less.

 

I never thought of looking for something like that.

 

Morning all. Dark and windy with the promise of more rain. Temps are quite high. about 8C/46 F I think it is going to rain for the next week.
campinspecter did get the car washed yesterday as the sun broke out for a couple of hours.

I had a dream last night that when I went shopping, T.Jeff Veal, Miz Carol, Godzilla and the trailer were sitting in the parking lot at the grocery store. They were escaping the frozen south and coming north west to warm up.

The Creator of the universe, who holds all things in his hand, who knows all things has come down to us to save us. When you think of all we have done to rebel against Him, treated Him abominably when He came here, at times denied He existed and YET, He loves us. What an unexplained wonderful love is that! Our oil tank was filled in June 2020. It is just over half full. I will be watching prices and politics this Summer and maybe get it filled.

Good evening, ya'll. Hope ya'll have had a SUPER SATURDAY. It was about 38⁰ this morning, 22⁰ and windy now.
We had a farwood delivery @9AM this morning, a few miles from home to a new friend. They own a mobile home here that they use as a hunting camp. His kids wanted to see snow, so they drove up from Bartow, FLA where they live......then we went to town, got gas and a few groceries. When we came out of Walmart, a young boy and his mom were in front of us. He was ooing and ahhing when he saw the snow starting. Then he said "it's Christmas time, mommy" ...that was so precious. We told her she was gonna have to put the tree back up....
We got maybe a 1" or so, but there is some slick, icy spots on the road.

A sun-less day ahead. 9⁰/24⁰ overcast all day. A bit breezy.

The storm is far enough out to sea, that we'll escape any further precipitation. Most everyone I know locally, are OK with that.

I might go out and clear snow off the screenhouse deck. I did shovel a narrow path to the door. It'll depend on how windy it gets.
