Ok folks, let's stay connected during this epic snow/ice storm via this thread. Share up pics of what your area gets and/or what you're dealing with over the next several days! Hope everyone in the path of Fern stays safe and has adequately prepped for rhe event. We are right in the middle of it's path here in central PA, they're still forecasting 14+ inches locally....we shall see.

The mini skidsteer is fueled and ready (had to rebuild a tilt cylinder a few weeks back), and got the snowblower ready to go also. Wood is ranked on the stoop in the garage, house is cozy and warm (it's currently 13°F outside), bring on the snow!

Still up in the air as to what we’ll get. Snowblower is at the ready as is a nice stack of black locust in my basement.

Wife and I did go out to the store today but bought zero tp, milk or eggs. We got the ingredients and made a huge pot of venison chili. :stirpot::drool:

11:40p and no signs of white stuff yet.

All prepped and ready for whatever happens! 18-24+ predicted here in NE Massachusetts. Currently 3* and rising about a degree an hour as the low pushes this way.

Woke to about 3-4” of light fluffy snow. I’ll get the leaf blower out and clear the carport and back porch after breakfast.

Lucky! We should only get some very light snow out of this one which is ok with me. I'm in no shape to be plowing snow right now but can keep wood in the stove.

I just saw footage of a grader clearing the road in Ft Worth, TX. It reminded me of one of the big storms in the 2000's here. Our road had been plugged for days. When it was time to get it open, the town sent a grader rigged with a V-plow. It was followed by a dump truck with a regular plow. Pretty cool to watch.

Looks about right to me...there was 4-5" at 9 am, the weather guessers were saying then that there's another 9-12" coming!
Been some time since we've had snow like this!

Just been cold AF here in central WI. Never got above -15 yesterday. Have had to chip the ice open/off the stink pipe vent twice in the last 3 days to open in back up.
