I saw a snapped off, about 15 feet up, standing dead ash in my neighbor's woods today. I am in charge of removing dead trees from his woods.

This 2wd ram HD sits rather disproportionately.

I got to take this for a rip last Friday. :jaw: I can’t begin to describe how quick it accelerates. :bug:

Glad I didn’t need to find out how good these are.

There's much to be said about the feeling of being pushed into the back of the driver's seat while accelerating!

    What make/model car is it?

Coaling is not an issue currently. I just let them burn down as the blower still sends those btu's on their merry little way throughout the ductwork!

Nissan GTR. That one's definitely not stock, and stock they were/ are fast. 3.8 twin turbo v6 AWD. 600-700 HP stock.

It's actually nice out for once today. Sunny and 48. If it wasn't for the wind it would feel great. I'm going to wrap up work early and tinker around the yard a little bit this afternoon.

As Tom mentioned, a GTR. This level of being pushed in the back is insane. Stock they go 0-60 in under 3 seconds.
Definitely not stock. It’s like a video game, you can customize so much, I couldn’t begin to list. It has street slicks, even in the colder temps it had zero wheel spin. When he left he put the tune on that throws flames about as long as my arm. :coldone:

Started off the day running my now repaired splitter to get some additional splits in before the cold snap. Was meeting a friend to run down to Birdseye to pick up this little gem. Six cylinder with three speed. 36,000 miles.

returned hom3 and did some more splitting bu5 called it quits rather than run the chainsaw. It got up to 42 today so i was fretting that i should be getting a car today.

I hope it is still good. After the borer hit, we found several that were too far gone to be worth much.

Yesterday, I moved about 10 wheel barrow loads of wood from the driveway up to the side of the house. Have to replenish the stack closest to the stove that's only a few steps outside. Going to move about that much more today. Used the splitting maul to reduce some splits so they're easier to manage. Got a good workout yesterday.

The mobile medical drug truck just rolled into the jobsite. Time to go pee in the cup. The drywall finishers ran to their trucks and left. Funny stuff here.

Last night I hauled more wood up from the shed to the patio, and brought another crate full of wood inside to brace for the real cold that's going to hit tonight. While the dogs still need to go out to do business, that means less patio door opening to bring in wood. Schools are already going to be closed Friday. Many already posted closings yesterday.

Good news bad news about the cold weather coming is that I'm into a lot of box elder as to what's next available in the stacks. Not a lot of locust or oak, but tons of box elder and a good amount of fir, so good news is that I will have plenty of fir and box elder to be able to burn the coals down from the higher BTU/ better coaling stuff. I just have to dig a little for the locust and oak. I have a good stack of ash on the patio that I brought up before snow happened this winter. Maybe there's more locust in the ash stack?
