If they think they have an advantage, coyotes will attack a single or small group of dogs. Sometimes a single coyote will "bait" a dog to come after it, then the rest of the pack ambushes the dog. I'm not a fan of coyotes at all, and remove them every chance I get.

My brother was telling something like this. He coyote hunts and he said he's seen different packs of coyotes do something similar. The lead dog will break off from the pack and make a big circle around while the other dogs push forward. Pretty much like guys pushing a woods for deer. They're not dumb animals.

I think it was a group of 3 he was telling me about. The one split off and went outta sight. They were able to shoot the two and while waiting the third came right at them from where the other dogs were headed.

Got home from work today and there were a few eyes watching me come up the driveway.

I might have to check them out. I've used AccuWeather in the past and quit using them because of the blatant inconsistencies much like weather.com.

I'd just quit using a "weatherman" like someone suggested (or I took it that was cause I haven't had any faith in any of them for years, maybe decades) but I've kinda gotten used to having somewhat of an idea of what to expect tomorrow. Anything more than that is usually a joke like what I originally posted. What I originally posted wasn't hardly 12 hours anyway and they werent very close. Well, their hourly was but the daily/nightly wasn't. I thought it was kinda funny.... but I have a twisted sense so you'll have to pardon me sometimes.

I have to say that Weather Underground here has been better than most of the local TV news channels. The TV weather is just as hyped up as the news. "Sell Copy" is more important than a balanced rendering of the forecast! Find the one clogged storm drain or the one blow down tree then report as if the the whole region was effected like that. The United States Weather Service seems best for the broad predictions and Weather Underground for our immediate area! The predictions for tomorrow can be fairly accurate but anything outside of three days is pure guessing!

All the times I used efficiency united (insulation, windows, doors, refrigerators come to mind immediately) I have always done the work myself and the rebate check has always been in my name.

I think the problems lies in the bureaucracy developed in some states.

On the coyote topic; here we have coy-dogs a domestic dog mix, and I posted this years ago. I shot one monster, hit him 6 or 7 times with 22 then he growled at me. I was on a 4 wheeler that thankfully had reverse backed up grabbed 30-06 and flopped him.
He was big enough I called fish and game.. Animal weighed 162 pounds (effectively field dressed from round) when weighed him off truck..
I wanted to know what is it? Should have grabbed tooth but I was assured they would let me know.

that didn’t happen, looked like wolf/shepherd mix but Huge

Interesting, I live in a state of bureaucracy, windows and doors are not covered. Insulation weather sealing etc must obtain xx% decrease in air loss as measured by blower door test.. refrigerator can be self installed but everything else by a specially licensed efficiency contractor.

This place is for sale, across the pond from me.

The exterior isn't exactly dilapidated, but a freshening would do no harm.
The inside is a mix of old fashioned and somewhat modern.
