I loved my job...but some new hires in the last few years have ruined it.
It's still a great job, and close to home, but my frustration level is high recently. Still working on adjusting my attitude...

It's certainly not running very smoothly lately...seems to have developed a severe miss, and smoking badly.

I've been retired almost 11 years and I thought the general workplace environment sucked when I jumped. I can't imagine what it's like trying to work and maintain your sanity today.

So I've noticed this issue before but never this large of a difference. Overnight temps are claimed to get to 32° but then when you look at the hourly it doesn't get to 32° until after 6am tomorrow. Truthfully theirs doesn't show 32° until between 8 and 9 tomorrow morning. Weatherman don't have to get the weather correct to keep their jobs and it appears they don't even have to get numbers to match up or correlate to get paid. :hair: I surely chose the wrong profession.

I use Accuweather mostly. It has all the projected graphs for temperature, pressure wind speed and direction, and rain amounts and time. It only projects from "now" and into the future up to ten days. The past is erased. What I wish it would do is graph the past actual measurements alongside the past predicted ones so we could see how well they did. :bug: But if we did that on our TV weather channels, someone would probably lose their job. Interesting concept though!

Yeah, the rebate doesn't go to the end user. The price is reduced and the supply house/ installer gets the rebate from the state, from what I read.

    Yes.

There's always some inept person that gets by on the backs of others. When those o people get the accolades or aren't seen as what they really are, it's a bit frustrating.

I changed the oil on my wife's 4Runner after work today. That went well, especially since it was like 54° today. When I started the oil change it was 49° and still in the 40°s when I was finished.

No complaints in mid January with those temps...

Even though the temperatures are going to be plummetting overnight and though the weekend.

I'm wondering if anyone here has seen behavior like this? My neighbor across the street has a chicken farm and three Livestock Guardian Dogs. One is an older female and they have a male and female 2yo pair. Last night a pack of coyotes attacked them. The two females have several wounds and blood all over, both their own and from the coyotes. I have never seen coyotes attack with three large dogs on a property.

there are are 5 of us that work together daily. If I never saw 3 of them again it wouldn’t bother me one bit.
