Thank you for your responses. When I searched for "Heated Water Bucket" I certainly found what I was looking for. The bucket style was a little too much for right outside our backdoor, however a company called Farm Innovators, out of Plymouth, Indiana has a 1.5 gallon larger dog bowl that runs just like the buckets. I've got one on order. Thanks again!

    Interesting quirk for a dog.

I think a bird bath heater would also work. I wouldn’t be surprised if someone was cross selling them.

When we adopted our 8 year old very badly abused Golden/Chow, she wouldn't drink out of a bowl. I can only imagine why. She would get her water by licking wet concrete outside. With some work we had her drinking out of a bowl in about a month.

I knew a lady once whose old dog always had a leash on in the house, they raised it from a puppy, not a rescue. The dog would do her business anywhere in the house if the leash was off.

My second Brittany I liked to air kiss. Somehow I accidently trained her to open her mouth if I went in for an air kiss LOL

Share the link in case others may have that need also. I almost wrote to look for livestock heated watering bucket, but figured that would bring in even larger tanks than what you were looking for.

It’s going to be New Dog Day two Wednesdays from now!! This time it’s going to be a black and tan German Shepard who happens to be Garcia’s nephew.

The yellow lab that we had was matched with a human this week. He’s out working as a guide dog now, earning his kibble. He’s also officially become one of the many ‘State Dog of New Jersey’.

We’ll get to see how good an uncle Garcia can be.

You do such great work with all the pups you train for those that need helpers.

The "kids" have been raiding my paper recycling box and they found a magazine on the floor. Dowel and 2X4 keeps them from gnawing on the furniture. They also have been bringing kindling up from the basement. My living room is now the toy room. Lily is now 4 1/2 months old.

They take awhile but they are thorough. They shred kindling as well which is a little harder to clean up.

We got Rusty back in December. He will be 13 weeks on Jan 24. I must be getting old because this pup has worn us both out along with Penny, our older Brittany.
