Morning all. Dark, wet and windy this morning. Wind warnings are up to the day and into tomorrow. Our temps are up as well so snow at high levels is starting to disappear.

I am glad I went and saw Mom yesterday as it was a calm day and the ferry was more or less on time. They have an interim ferry until March and it is smaller, slower and more susceptable to the wind conditions.

Chores, cooking and what ever else I can find to do. Grocery shopping is going to be wet.

MikeInMa whenever the kids had colds and it was dry outside, I would bundle them up and send them outside for a bit to get lots of fresh air. I really should take my own advice now whenever I have the sniffles.

I moved 3 loads of wood. One to the deck rack, and the other two about 100ft to a recently emptied rack. There's more to move, but I didn't want to push it. Felt good to be outdoors for about an hour.

Good morning. It has been a strange winter so far…cools down and snows, then gets relatively warm for this time of year. At least it has been cold enough to lay down a foot of ice on the lakes around here. It should be closer to 18” by now.

good morning to all. Was up early and decided to run to a country restaurant. This sign is at the coffee station. Place is miles from any town, but has a good following. Also a place wheee you can run into someone you know but didn’t expect they knew the place was here

still on a high from Indiana football having a big win last night. Now onto the Championship. Doubtful Miami has any Hoarders so feel free to adopt us for one night.

A late FHC morning to all.

Myself and one of the dogs were already walking. the other dog has developed severe hip (or knee) problems and has been too tender for walking. Poor thing whines if he isn't careful when he moves. X-rays next week............

Morning all. Dark, windy and wet out there. Not close to the freezing mark so it will be washing snow away at higher levels. They call it an atmospheric river now. We used to call it the Pineapple express as it came up from the south east. Definitely weird weather patterns for December/January.

We have had four deaths in our church community this past week. As it is a small, mostly related community, it has hit hard. Three elders and a younger person. The grief just keeps being piled on everyone. The words of Jesus become such as comfort at this time. Matthew 28: 20 ends with the words: And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Paul writes also about our salvation at this time. Don't put it off. Instead we have this advice in 2 Corinthians 6: 2
2 For he says,
“In the time of my favor I heard you,
and in the day of salvation I helped you.”
I tell you, now is the time of God’s favor, now is the day of salvation.

Take time today to accept the gift of salvation Jesus died to give you. No greater sacrifice has been made to rescue you from the eternal darkness of the second death.

Rest in the Sabbath today.

Good morning. 26 his morning with some snow on the ground. Only rising a little but we have warmer stuff later this week. Have a couple of tree trunks I plan to pull out of brush and cut up. Coffee at the neighbor’s first though.
