I'm down for those temps as I will be in Kansas over the holidays. The temps here have been way below normal for November and December (I think only 2 days in December so far at or above average), so warm is okay by me. Staying with my Mom, so it will be a good time to get some walks in and enjoy the weather.

I remember several years ago when Christmas day was pretty much canceled as my BIL, with my sister, rolled his truck on icy roads. In turn, my niece decided that is was more important to attend to her parents (imagine that - LOL). So it was me and my parents staring at each other all day. Since I'd been staying with them, we'd pretty much already run out of discussion topics . I'd rather not have a repeat of that!

The low 40's that were predicted for Christmas day have been changed to just above freezing temps now.

They are saying 46° on Christmas here. A couple degrees lower than the 50 they said it would be. No complaints here

I've been reading reports for several months that MS Phone Link is going away. I use it all the time to transfer pics from my phone to my desktop, and sometimes use phone apps from the computer, so was bummed (I know that you can get there thru file explorer now, but it is inconvenient and doesn't have all the same functionality). However, last night the phone app was updated, so maybe they have delayed those plans.

Caffeine! One week vacation starting today. I pulled or tweaked a muscle in my neck/upper back last week. And it still hasn’t healed right. Ugh. Kinda comes down and around shoulder blade on my left side. Wish I could get it to heal faster. Been 6 or 7 days now. Just taking occasional Tylenol or ibuprofen. So, I’m going to have to take it slow and easy over vacation. I’ve got to get around to a few stores/restaurants today to finish up some Christmas shopping. Hope to go for a long walk this morning with my wife. Youngest is home for a Month from first semester of college. Yea!

Can someone reset the breaker on the outdoor heater? It's chilly out there.

My 5th and 6th grade teacher told us the most depressing Christmas she had was in far south Texas where she saw a person tending to his roses on Christmas day, outside.

If you're interested, if MS ends, I plug my phone into computer and go through C drive to get pics on my computer. No extra apps.

On the left side trapezius. Hard to know which exact muscle it is. But goes up the neck and almost to lower head. Then down and around shoulder blade.

Fortunately I still have good range of motion. So it’s not too bad. But it’s one of those aches that is just steady and by the end of the day, or before, you are like wore out. And feel like chit!

I know how to do that - it's a PITA because both my computer and phone go thru extra security measures with that type of connection. And sometimes my phone forgets to allow me the choice of doing anything but charging. In the past, f I need to transfer large groups of pictures, I used that method. But going thru File Explorer will be the preferred way to do that. But for 1-2 pics, it's faster going thru the Phone Link app without any added steps.

Maybe he is a harbinger of colder temps coming. He wants a place by the fire and a bowl of flies!

I was hopeful it was a sign that this winter wasn't going to be so bad but I can believe your perspective easier. This last cold snap probably caught him off guard and now that its a little warmer he figured he might get in a better position before the real cold and snow came.
