Then there’s common sense in that at 45th parallel Dec 22 is half way thru winter in northern hemisphere because temperatures usually goes up when suns up.

I don't know how high we got here but some of the worst I've seen since moving here, wind whistled (screamed) through cracks in the house that have never existed lol. Grateful it was only over 2 days and it's calm today :)

I don't remember any til the 90's except man made wildfires. Constant cycle of drought on and off since then and this years been hardly any snow. Also the population explosion I imagine = more power lines now. Yesterday was low humidity, high winds.

Boy what a dirty trick they played on their customers. "Here, have a free smart thermostat, it will save you money and we'll give you a discount on your bill" , but neglected to tell them they could run the thermostats remotely.

Just read this. Preliminary article said weather could have definitely been a factor. He was one of the good guys.

Perfect example of why you can't trust big business or government.

Lost most of our snow today while it was almost 50° and raining. No worries though, it's supposed to be in the teens before sun up tomorrow.

Mud season #1 in the books. What a mess out there. :hair:

Nothing but a cruel joke. Gonna be extra messy on the roads/parking lots once this starts freezing tonight. I just can't wait for everyone to be driving 40 mph again like it's the first time they've seen it.

Same here. It got to to nearly 50° windy rainy and now the backside of the storm is going to get cold and snowy. Not much snow but it is supposed to do something. I heard lows around 14 overnight and flash freezing tonight. My lacrosse weather station shows 32° right now.

I'm feeling much better now. I didn't need to hit the nurse's office, it's definitely on it's way out. I even worked out in the gym this afternoon. Not anywhere near 100 % but it's a huge improvement. The bad thing is that my wife has it now. :picard:

41FanForLife , I have played that at on3 of our parks. Still have a set of discs. When i was a Bif Brother, it gave me an out, for doing kid stuff.

Today, the winds and rain came in, but i had arranged to get some cutoffs saved at the Amish mill , so off i went. Lots of 2 feer and longer oak blocks. So many I stopped loading them for fear it would be too much weight. I5 was supposed to be up to 60, but i don’t think so.
Rest of the day was taking a nap and staying out of th3 weather. Now a am watching Landman, and hitting fast forward anytime a woman shows on the screen

Probably the busiest week for shipping of the year and we didn't get mail for two days. Saw the mail truck on the back of the tow truck two days in a row. :hair:
