3 today, 2 tomorrow, 1 Monday, Thursday, Friday. I made an emergency 7:30 delivery last night and I didn’t want more than 2 today. Talking head says it’s the coldest it’s been in 14hrs. Heading out now to start the Nashville hot grind.
My oldest son in Greenville SC wants a load of wood for Christmas, so he’s getting his first rack and mega rick. Have a great one!

Delivered and stacked this half cord during my off period on Friday. 12 minute drive each way, 20 minutes to stack. Did a handful of perfect pull-ups off the customers low hanging tree branch, gave him a Hulk Hogan style flex and got back to school well before my next class. This landed the Benjamin’s.

2 turned into 3 deliveries + one drive in today.
Tonight will be our coldest night so far.
The drive in is worried I will run out of wood so he’s coming back on Friday. I told him I had enough inventory to last to February. A new customer I delivered to yesterday liked the sample order and ordered more. He is living in the top floor of an early 20th century brick industrial building that appears to have never had an update. I know that beech is cold af.

Below 30⁰ has folks remembering that winter is coming...:picard::hair:...but that can be a good thang...:thumbs:
A guy from 2 years ago wanted a trailer load...hand chucked this load of TOTALLY AWESOME and PERFECTLY SPLIT white oak and hickory from our supposedly "not gonna sell" retirement shed...:confused::emb::emb::headbang:...took it on a road trip to N Macon, got home about 1PM...we're such slackers...
    20251215_091431.jpg
Then right before I went to :sleeping: got a message from a new guy looking for wood. He came by and our Customer Service Representative, Miz Carol, politely showed him the wood shed.:).
He loaded his Nissan Frontier... Messenger_creation_1273A760-2DCA-4E46-9839-B493DB98A5E3.jpeg

The new friend from post #258 texted us today, said they loved our PERFECTLY SPLIT, AWESOME junk red oak. Wanted to know if we could deliver 3 totes or a bulk cord. So we loaded up the dump trailer with the BEST WOOD in GA...lol...1/2 cord each of white oak and hickory... Maybe we will get justified if the week is 8 days longer...

I didn't want to mention that I've been on 6PM-6AM shift since last Tuesday night...:whistle::whistle:

It's fun being a wannabe seller...

I’m ready for Nashville hot to take a break. The list is keeping me busy until Christmas Eve.
My first delivery today requires wheelbarrowing to the storage site. This is where the perfect pull-ups and decathlons pay off. I’ll be pushing 4 wheelbarrows at once up to the mountaintop mansion only accessible by helicopter and the mountain goat firewood deliverer.

Ya' know.... if'n you had wheelbarrows twice the size, you only need 2 of them. If they had cup holders, you be golden!!

And the wheelbarrows were metal shallow tub antiques with flat tires. Quick pint of 151 and I’ll be ready for the next round.
