Crazy today 55 for the high in December 34 right now with just a nice Wyoming breeze. House was to warm most of the day. No fire tonight.
Ground is white with maybe 1-2”. 34/74. Temps are supposed to keep going down till Monday morning. Burning oak.
Thermometer said -20 earlier, so probably -25 now. Load of oak in the stove and there is a definite chill running across the floor even though the house itself is warm.
5f, -12 windchill 74 inside with cherry and red pine ripping. Did have to kick the furnace on for a bit because the fire died down alot and it got down to 64.
24* temps dropping throughout day, 5" of "wet" snow, wind to pick up later Just cleaned out some coals and ckinkers. Oak and BL until tuesday, when temps go back up.
22/74 ripping some more tree of heaven. I am still impressed with how well the stuff burns in my setup.
Crazy temps dropped to 19 overnight. Cranked the stove with lodgepole. House coming back up. 64 and climbing. No wind

-12 this morning. We went to church anyway. After lunch I had a spike buck eating needles off a white pine tree close to the house. Temps are now above zero.
-2f /67f Mishmash of mixed hardwoods and pine. Bonus wood from a friend who sold his home and didn't have time/space for it at his new place. Almost half a cord. Working nicely. It had been under a lean too for 3 years.
