34 and snowing in the south. It’s been snowing since 9am without accumulation. The ground has turned to slop so I have to use 4x4 to get the ricks out. Poplar popping with some slow burn white oak. Supposed to drop to 20 and I have some heavy duty white oak splits on standby.
-7 Wind chill was -27. Had stuff to do this morning but those are the temps that were then.....not now.
Just give it another 30-40 years. The cold actually "hurts" sometimes. My name is Mike, and I'm a hoarder in Ok. Lopi Endeavor and Republic 1250

Supposed to get 5-7” of wet snow tomorrow. Is spring getting close yet? I did see people out ice fishing today. Have to get out with my family.
16 Snowing (go figure) and some winds but more like a breeze moving the snow around a little. Looks like 2" so far.
6 / 61 miscalculated my wood consumption last night and got up early (for me) and started again. Took the opportunity to take out a few shovels full of ash as it was getting a little too deep. Pine and mystery chunks and a nice slab of oak on top. Warming up nicely.
